The Cottage at The Courtyard Frodsham
The Cottage in Frodsham has been inspected and accredited by the Team of famous travel writer, Alastair Sawday, as a very special place to stay.....
It fits right into this traditional Cheshire market town: a half-timbered cottage from 1645 with original wooden pegs, wattle and daub and a stylish twist. Everything kindles quirk and charm, from studded oak door to spacious wooden stairs up to the cosy mezzanine 'library' overlooking the expansive living room. Timber beams spider over walls and down cathedral ceilings. Step into the elegant dining room with sophisticated table and chairs to seat 6, through to a modern country kitchen, then saunter up gleaming stone stairs to the living room's comfy sofa and rug-topped floors. The master bedroom has an oak dresser and fireplace with views over the main street; the second double room overlooks a leafy, secluded courtyard. Frodsham's main street – one of the widest in England. The cottage bursts with character and charm and makes the ideal retreat.
It's perfect for visiting Chester, Oulton Park, Chester Racecourse, shopping at Cheshire Oaks, Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales.
