With two identical double bedrooms The Stables is a traditional cottage with a view of Helsby Hill from the front bedroom window. The lounge/dining area is open plan with a separate kitchen, which is fully equipped and includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a large bath with shower over and the fully enclosed private courtyard garden is a lovely area to relax. This cottage has parking directly outside the front door for one vehicle and complimentary WiFi.
The Stables has now received an increased accreditation of 4* GOLD rating by Visit Britain's Quality In Tourism.

Guests can arrive from 4pm on any day for a minimum of a 2 night stay except for weekend breaks which commence on a Friday. Our departure time is 10am.
On reservation a 25% deposit is required or full payment if 8 weeks or less to arrival. Payments can be made via debit/credit cards (2% charge for credit card payments) or bank transfer (£10.00 fee if an international payment).

Fully enclosed private courtyard garden accessed from the rear door with mosaic table and four chairs. Parking is for one car and is outside the front door.
The Stables will have been professionally cleaned for your arrival and all linen, towels and kitchen towels are provided and changed after 7 days (unless arranged sooner for an additional fee). Toilet rolls, hand wash, dish wash tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags, tea and coffee are provided at the start of your stay.

The Stables is located in the far left corner of the courtyard and has its own parking space directly in front of the property.
To access the property there is a step down to the front door. From entering the entrance hall are the stairs leading to the first floor and to the right is a door leading to the dining area at the front of the property overlooking the courtyard. To the rear is the lounge which looks out into the private rear courtyard garden. A door leads off the dining area into the kitchen which has access into the rear courtyard. There is one step down into the courtyard.
There are thirteen 8” (20cm) steps leading to the first floor.
Luggage assistance is available.
Main lighting for all rooms is controlled by switches just inside each doorway. In the interests of helping the environment and saving energy as well as for health and safety reasons please ensure all lights and appliances are turned off on leaving the property.
All radiators throughout are thermostatically controlled.
A fire blanket is provided.
The first and second doors lead to the two double bedrooms and straight ahead is the bathroom. On the landing is a cupboard over the stairs where the vacuum cleaner is located and luggage can be stored.
Additionally, there are bedside lamps on each side of the bed. An electric shaver adapter is provided for each bedroom and is located in the drawer of the wardrobe.
TV (includes Freeview) and DVD are remote controlled and the controls are located next to the TV.
Heating for The Stables is controlled by a wall mounted thermostat located on the wall to the left of the door into the kitchen.
A non-slip bathmat is provided.
Wireless broadband is available through a secure network and is called The Courtyard Helsby. Details will be provided on how to gain access.
We welcome guide dogs but please advise us at the time of booking.
The duvets and pillows we provide are a mixture of goose down and hotel standard. If you have any preference then please inform at the time of booking.
No smoking is allowed throughout the property and smoke detectors are fitted throughout.
Waste & Recycling
The Courtyard supports the recycling policy of Cheshire West & Chester Council which has one of the highest recycling rates of any council. In the rear courtyard garden is a green plastic box for cans and bottles and a red box for plastic bottles. General waste can be placed in the black bin outside the front door.

Health & Safety
To minimise the risk of fire please ensure when going out from the property that all appliances and lights are turned off at the wall. This includes making sure appliances such as the TV, DVD player etc are not left on standby. Please also ensure that no taps are left running.
